About the Professional School
The IKC Professional School was established in 1992. The early years were used to work on developing common international standards for the kinesiology profession. IKC members who had ongoing professional training in different countries gave their contributions. The IKC Professional School promotion of services and training began in earnest after 2003.
Its main functions are:
- To set International Professional Kinesiology standards to serve as a common international ground for all the IKC affiliated professional organizations in different countries.

- To establish basic standards for the education of professional kinesiologists.
- To establish basic standards for recognition of professional kinesiology courses created exclusively for professional kinesiology trainings.
- To establish basic standards for recognition of other specific professional programs related to kinesiology.
- To support the basic standards for professional kinesiology trainings or other IKC professional programs recognized for each country.

We are committed to contributing high quality professional standards and to create a kinesiology worldwide network that will allow each of us to receive the benefits produced by each area or country. As an example, by issuing one identical international certificate to all the kinesiologists in the world who have graduated from a recognized IKC professional kinesiology training program, IKC creates a united network that helps each country and kinesiologists to benefit from the advantages obtained by other countries and kinesiologists in different countries.
We have applications for the recognition of professional kinesiology training programs and professional kinesiologists.
We also have affiliated national professional kinesiology associations that do abide by our basic standards whose names are lsted in the website.
